House rules

House rules

Thank you very much for your stay at our resort. Our staff work hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. However, we cannot do this without your cooperation. Therefore, we would like to draw your attention to the following house rules.

Arrival and departure

Accommodation is available from 16:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out is possible until 11:00 on the day of departure.

Visitors
Visitors are welcome and should report to reception on arrival. They are expected to leave the resort before 21:00. Deviation from this is only possible with the consent of the Resort Manager. Should visitors wish to stay overnight, this must be reported at reception. They will be registered as fellow travellers and tourist tax must be paid for this. The reception reserves the right to refuse lodgers. Visitors must comply with the rules set out in these regulations.

Facilities
Football and other ball games are allowed only in designated areas. Use of resort facilities and (games) equipment is at your own risk.

Accommodation and waste
Each accommodation has its own personal furnishings. It is not allowed to take outside furniture that belongs in the holiday accommodation. (Garden) furniture and inventory may not be moved or relocated to other accommodation.

 

Guests are obliged to keep the accommodation and its surroundings in a neat and orderly condition. No rubbish may be left in and around the accommodation. Waste must be sorted and disposed of in the designated waste containers. Rubbish bags (and loose waste) may not be placed at any time for reasons of hygiene and the possible attraction of (un)animals.

 

In your absence, all loose items such as bicycles, toys, etc. should be cleared away around the accommodation, stowed away as much as possible and placed out of sight. Bicycles may not be placed against the accommodation. The erection of party tents and the use of drones are not permitted.

Pets
Pets are allowed at the resort only in some of the accommodations; pets are not allowed in the pet-free accommodations.

 

Dogs must be leashed at all times, except inside a holiday accommodation and must not cause any nuisance to other guests at the resort. Dogs must be walked outside the resort.

 

In case of "accidents", the companion of the dog must take care of the removal of such soiling himself. Pets are not allowed in public areas such as the swimming pools, restaurant 't Proeflokaal and the mini-market/bakery. Pets are welcome at the reception and at café 't Proeflokaal.

(Night) rest and nuisance
Guests at the resort should behave properly in general and observe a silence throughout the premises between 23:00 and 07:00. We expect our guests to strictly observe this nightly silence. This includes no music, loud conversations or any other noise and not using the outdoor Jacuzzis after 23:00.

 

Also during the day, it is not allowed to use music carriers, musical instruments and other objects that (may) cause noise pollution in such a way as to cause nuisance. With the receipt of a complaint from a fellow guest, the nuisance is established and charges may be levied.

 

A security service is present at our resort. Instructions from the staff (including this security service) must be followed immediately.

 

The houses/apartments/villas are private property (according to Art. 461 Civil Code); use of nitrous oxide is strictly prohibited, possibility of removal from the resort is guaranteed.

Maintenance

Dormio Resort Maastricht reserves the right to carry out (cleaning) activities around the accommodation from 08:00.

 

Urgent faults reported to reception will be resolved as soon as possible. Dormio Resort Maastricht always has the right to enter the rented accommodation for inspection and/or to carry out maintenance work (or have it carried out). If possible, staff will give timely notice of such a visit.

 

In urgent cases, Dormio Resort Maastricht may waive an announcement.

Parking
Park your car only in the parking spaces belonging to your own property. Only these cars have access to the resort. Other cars and cars belonging to the flats should be parked in the general car park at the entrance to the resort.

Cars are not allowed to park on the street or on the grass. In case of emergency, emergency services must be able to reach all accommodation on the resort quickly and freely.

Parking on and around the resort is at your own risk. Dormio Resort Maastricht is not liable for damage, loss or theft of your belongings.

 

Electric cars may only be charged using the dedicated charging stations in the general car park, P1. Charging on the mains supply of your holiday home is not permitted.

Safety

The use of a barbecue on the resort is permitted provided it is at least 3 metres from trees, bushes, fences, buildings and the accommodation. A bucket with approx. 10 litres of water should also be kept within easy reach of the barbecue for emergencies. Only electricity, charcoal and briquettes may be used as fuel for the barbecue.

 

Only the paraffin blocks available at our reception may be used in the fireplaces. Dormio Resort Maastricht reserves the right to prohibit the use of a barbecue in special circumstances (e.g. extreme drought).

 

Due to fire risk, disposable barbecues must not be deposited in the designated containers until they are extinguished and cooled down.

 


Self-carried electricity, and/or water installations must comply with legal requirements.
If a fire occurs due to any cause, the guest should raise the alarm immediately so that the fire can be extinguished as soon as possible.

 

When leaving the accommodation, please turn off all lights and close the back doors.

General house rules

Instructions from resort staff must be followed in all cases.
Behave in such a way that you do not cause any inconvenience to anyone. Enjoy your stay and allow other guests to enjoy their (holiday) peace and quiet.

 

All guests must strictly comply with the rules and regulations set out in the General Terms and Conditions, the Recron Terms and Conditions and the House Rules, and follow instructions given by the staff and/or any security service present in any form or context. This also applies to the rules governing the use of the facilities.

 

Violation of these conditions and rules as well as failure to follow instructions from the staff may result in removal from the resort whereby access to the resort will be denied, without entitling you to a full or partial refund of the paid or still to be paid (rental) sums, without prejudice to the right of Dormio Resort Maastricht to claim compensation for the damage caused by the violation.

Deposits

In accordance with the general conditions, a deposit of up to € 800 (per house) must be paid in advance. You will receive the deposit back within 14 working days by bank/giro, if you have left things in accordance with the conditions on the day of departure and your behaviour was in accordance with the rules of conduct. Dormio Resort Maastricht is entitled to deduct costs from the retained deposit.

 

Complaints from third parties and/or the security service regarding your behaviour/nuisance/destruction may result in removal from the resort with deduction of your deposit. You are not entitled to a refund.

 

Damage that you or one of your fellow guests cause to property of Dormio Resort Maastricht will always be recovered directly from the perpetrator or from you.

 

Additional efforts by our staff (including security) as a result of your behaviour will be translated into costs and may be deducted from your deposit.

 

Some examples of costs that may be charged:

- Waste disposal in and around the houses; minimum €100.

- Additional cleaning; at the discretion of the cleaning company, minimum € 150,-

- Leaving dirty dishes or dishes in the dishwasher €25

- Warning by resort manager or the security service in case of (noise) nuisance; first warning: verbal, second warning €100.00, third warning removal from the resort and/or reimbursement of all costs incurred due to your nuisance.

 

Dormio Resort Maastricht reserves the right, regardless of which of your group/group is the culprit, to deduct any costs due to damage, extra work or destruction from the deposit.
